First bought a hardshell before they had hoodies. Bought a hoodie a few years ago.
Heats needs to be in the layer closest to your body to work good.
Wear the hoodie almost everyday, when really cold wear hardshell over the hoodie.
Very seldom use heat in the hardshell.
