Tractor bar and operator is money maker here @ $12 acre. Problem with too many is they have too much invested in over priced equipment. Put Nh3 on with a 9370 Quadtrack that cost $53,000 and 50 foot CIH 5300 nh3 bar that cost $9000 Where do I find these 9000$ 20 knife bars? Also I suppose there are no maintenance on said bar? Bought it on auction from Fert dealer. There were three of them sold that day for $9-$12000.. Guy I know bought a nice 5300 50 Ft NH3 bar last year for $6000. $1 acre more than covers NH3 bar repairs since have owned it. When I sold my rig I was averaging more than $1.75 an acre in knives and disks and shanks, and that was 8 years ago! Happy to pay $15 to get it done!
