Subject: RE: John Deere 8260r Rebuild

SW Ohio
They did laptop I sat in tractor and saw it myself.
He said run it like it is because everything checked and all cylinders were within range. It is more than normal blow by. Not blowing oil just more vapor than normal and building up a little where it blows out. No notice of power loss. Maintenanced regularly and just changed oil and filters. Checked around air intake and filter housing don’t see any spots where it would be sucking in too much dirt. Mechanic said go ahead run it but suspect a possible rebuild or engine if and when gets worse.

We going to start chiseling with it on a 9shank chisel soon. Just a little worried even after Deere came out.
Other people say just trade it. It’s a good tractor that we have had since 2yrs old. IVT transmission ILS suspension not common options for a tractor that size.
