SW Ohio | I have an 8260r with 4500hrs it has excessive blow by, using a little oil but not much had it compression tested range is 90-100. Deere says it’s ok but probably needs rebuilt in near future. Couple questions.
- how much would a rebuild be?
- would you trade or repair?
- what other items would you fix if we’re rebuilding and is there anything to upgrade to get more hp? I already know it can tuned to gain power is there anything else anyone has done on 9L to increase hp?
