What are you going to use it for?

At work we haven't ran a 7 series in 12+ years. We weren't impressed then, running a loader and they were very slow to switch forward to reverse. Been using 6r's since (6215's) and am impressed with them. Seem to punch above their weight class, and are snappy. Use it for loading three 3x4 bales in hay and straw and loading chicken manure spreaders. I've used them to push and pack silage trench with a big concrete block on the back they were about unstoppable. Pull a 16' discbine mowing heavy rye and hay and while it's maxed out, it still pulls and gets the job done. We even have them on our 2500 5 shank ripper if an 8 isn't available. It has its hand full, but load the bucket up with dirt and it will rip everything but the tightest spots-slower but will still get the job done. An 8 will ride much smoother since the longer wheel base and little bit more weight.
