Soybean residue is a concern? I would look to the combine. 45’ head he spreads over @30’ it goes thru my old JD 1000 springtooth, drag in spring fine. If I do fall, damp. I might need to raise drag. He combines at bit of an angle. I work at other angle, plant. Fields I do fall with chisel plow even nicer.
So you must have darn good yields, residue in your area.
