WCMO-SWMO Area | I havent had any rain yet in November but we might get 1/2 inch or more this weekend..Right now if it didnt rain another drop this year,it would be the 3rd or 4th driest year in recorded history...The last rain to run much water was in May of 2022...Most ponds and irrigation lakes are very low or are dry...The corn in my immediate area made from 0-60 bpa,early beans 10-15 bpa,and double crop beans were appraised as low 3-5 bpa...You can go 20-30 miles away and the yields were from some better to lots better..2022 and 2023 were the two worst years back to back here since 1953-54...Theres lots of wheat out and it looks good..So far crop insurance has saved everyone but its got to rain in 2024. | |
