Southern MN | We had good rain in October, don’t really consider us as dry as we have been the last two falls. But no tile are running, and the only wetland we have was able to be tilled AFTER a 5” rain event in October. Worked up like it hadn’t rained at all, and the few times I have gotten through it in the past was mudding through it. For us thought being somewhat in a drought is where our best yields are. After the past 3 years of way below normal moisture I am starting to understand that the heavy rains we usually get in April and May do far more damage than good. | |
