I'm seeing ponds and streams that are bone dry for the first time in my 66 years. We have finally gotten a few misty showers that may possibly save the trees and brush, but you can't even find a puddle after an all day rain event because the ground is soaking it up. It'll take 6"+ to even begin to refill te lakes and streams here.
