mascoutah, IL | Not trying to kill the crop already for next year. After all I am from an I State. Just curious how many are still dry? I turned 50 in August and have been doing this my whole life and can never remember it this dry going into thanksgiving. Some wells are dry. Ponds are dry or going dry. We typically fight too much water in my immediate neighborhood. Local winter forecast is also extremely dry. I will say it made for a nice harvest. Been able to do all the dirt work I wanted. | |
