Is the truck stripped down, ie did they remove the boom and all the accessories? If it is, wondering how much of the PDM is still connected and still functioning?

They tie the PDM in to the starting, ignition, and several other functions of the truck overriding several circuits with interlocks to allow remote starting up in the bucket and emergency controls. They were always a nightmare for our mechanics to work on as it was hard to trace what went where. Altec offers a 2 day class to learn all about PDM’s!

I would follow each wire coming out of the box. If they are clipped and disconnected, then I’d be taking it out.

The serial connectors in the dash was probably either for a laptop computer or a repeater for the radio.
