Subject: RE: Articulating telescopic loaders

SW Illinois
can't comment on the telescopic part, but we switched to standard wheel loaders. Hydro transmission means the guys don't burn up clutches, can see the bucket easier, controls have a better layout, more stability when loaded. Ours has a skidsteer hook up with hydraulic locks and remote hydraulics. anything a skidsteer runs, the loader can too. I think it is as idiot proof of a tool to have if you just need a loader. I've seen too many poor operators tear up skid steers. Takes more effort to mess up a wheel loader.

down side: no pto, no draw bar, no 3pt. Front end work only and it is less maneuverable than a skidsteer.
