I'm not saying you're wrong but I've been reading this forum for nearly 15 years and I think I've read something similar to this post every year. Land here is about 3x to 5x higher than it was 15 years ago. If a young farmer waited then on advice like this then they are almost certainly never going to be able to jump in unless they inherit some major assets.
Well that’s the truth. Agtalk is a crappy source of advice as it seems most are old farts rooting for everyone else to fail. At least on land purchases. I’ve been reading here longer than 15 and back then some of the purchases made that would have been poo pooed then are paid off now. |
