Historical fact for me is land I bought in 1985 for $300 is worth $ 3000/ acre today. Plus the annual rental return. You can talk yourself out of anything if you want to.



Same can be said about talking yourself into something that the numbers are screaming is a terrible investment. 

What did that 1985 ground sell for in say 1980-81?   What year did it finally get back to the old high after the collapse?


 



Had ground that bought in 1978 took till 1993 to get back to 1978 level.
