Will a planter drift the same amount on a side hill, going and down a hill? I think it would be more going up the hill.


The drift does vary with the direction you are going and no consistency to it. Usually here more drift going downhill. Pulling uphill it is kept tight pulling with the hitch pin keeping things in line. Going downhill the weight of the planter puts compression on the pin so the pin stops it going downhill so the planter usually tails more downhill.
