I’m sorry, I was too lazy to read the article, but what is your feelings on the timing of land cycles. Coup has been consistent in thinking/following a 50 year cycle. I think if we follow that then where we are about now is possibly where things pull back to when they do. I’m considering sticking my neck out now based on that in all honesty. I’m not a large landholder so if I buy something now it’ll most likely 2X my land holdings almost. So it’s a risky move for me considering…
I must be missing something, where are you thinking we are on a 50 year land price cycle? It sounds like you are thinking we are peaking or peaked and prices should be pulling back, but it sounds like you are ready to stick your neck out and double your owned land base, which would be buying at the peak right before a devaluation. Trying to wrap my head around why you want to buy right ahead of a softening market? |
