2 transmission system? I think you misunderstand how the system works, but you are correct that the FWA does not need to be engaged or disengaged.

I believe the latest generation of 900 does have some 1000 series technology, but you would be best served to talk to a FENDT dealer who is more well versed. I'm parts and service only, and don't keep up on the current stuff until I have to learn it.

I don't know how else a guy can simply explain it. There is a hydro control for front independent from a hydro for the rear, with a shaft that connects the two if need be.
