Southern Mn | I couldn’t get my diff lock off on my 9682 years ago. I assume yours is the same set up as mine. My problem was in the electric actuator on the differential. The rubber boot that keeps oil out of the actuator failed and allowed oil into the actuator and wrecked it. I don’t remember exactly how it was but I took the actuator off, manually screwed it to the unlocked position, manually unlocked the differential and put it back together with the power wire disconnected. I don’t have diff lock anymore but never used it anyway. I assume to fix it would require gutting the differential to get in and fix the rubber boot.
