Thanks Chris, you’re always good source of Agco information! Where are these tractors built? Is the motor a Sisu, or Agco Power? I know Masseys used to use Perkins? Are there different transmission options on these, I’m assuming there’s a forward/reverse lever on the steering column so they’re handy for loader work? The tractor I’d be replacing for loader/snow blower work is an IH 1086, so there’s no question of an improvement in handiness and comfort! The other one for the mower and scraping work it wold replace is an Allis 8010 2wd, 106 pto hp, so I would want something at least as heavy as that, which weighs about 12,000 I think with fluid and front weights. I saw a 6615 weighs 12,500, does that sound right?

Depends on year, some could have been built in Jackson, MN if they are CVT tractors, but ALL Dyna 4/Dyna 6 tractors are Beauvais, France, and likely most CVT tractors in the small frame would have been built there as well.

All 66/6700 tractors will be the AGCO Power/SisuDiesel engine, and are using the 4.9L (299CID, I stand corrected) engine...6600 will be Tier 4 Interim, with 6700 and newer being T4 Final.

All have LH Reverser on the column, but you have 3 transmission choices. Dyna 4, 16 speed F/R, Dyna 6 24 speed F/R, and the CVT. All are great for loader work, but the CVT would be the premium option. The Dyna 4 and 6 are partial powershift, 4 Ranges, with 4 and 6 powershift per range respectively, with some AutoShift capabilities depending on how the tractor is speced.

I would say it would be a great replacement for both, maybe give up a few pounds to the 8010, again, depending on options and specs, but the FWA will more than make up for it in 98% of conditions.

Chris
