Subject: RE: Massey 6615

Thanks Chris, you’re always good source of Agco information! Where are these tractors built? Is the motor a Sisu, or Agco Power? I know Masseys used to use Perkins? Are there different transmission options on these, I’m assuming there’s a forward/reverse lever on the steering column so they’re handy for loader work? The tractor I’d be replacing for loader/snow blower work is an IH 1086, so there’s no question of an improvement in handiness and comfort! The other one for the mower and scraping work it wold replace is an Allis 8010 2wd, 106 pto hp, so I would want something at least as heavy as that, which weighs about 12,000 I think with fluid and front weights. I saw a 6615 weighs 12,500, does that sound right?
