Any experiences on using investment style institutions as a checking account or as online bill pay. Asking about vanguard specifically but I would willing to go elsewhere if I have to. Have been using their mobile deposit and has been working good just that moving funds to bank checking takes an extra day and that can be a problem. I have banked with a large regional bank based in my area for 20+ years and I fail to see the benefits of continuing with them as employee turnover there's no personal connection. As far as making loans I believe that could be done anywhere and from anyone because the only thing that matters there is what's in the loan documents that i sign. Thanks in advance, just trying to navigate this post covid culture.
