I'm on the local mutual insurance board. Reinsurance rate is going up 75% from last year and last year it was up 30%. I would expect another increase a year from now, but much less. Insurance and Reinsurance companies are getting squeezed by increased claims, inflation dramatically increasing costs of building materials and reduced returns on investments.
