Farms that own 6 class 9/10 machines and all are in the same 1000 acre field. So if they can go from 6 machined to 4 or 5 the labor savings alone would be a huge factor. Say they drop one machine and one operator. Maybe save $50k per year on that one operator. Drop two and you save enough in a few years to put a huge dent on the cost of those machines. |
