Is this built on the current NH/CNH Flagship chassis?

I was told by a dealer recently that when Case and NH were haggling over design for the new somewhat common combine, case wanted to lengthen the chassis to accommodate the current rotor and transition cone. Apparently NH said no so flagship models have a shorter transition cone than in the past and that's why they wear out faster. I really don't know how NH fits a cylinder, beater and 2 rotors in the same space (rotors must be pretty short).

I recently bought a 2009 7088 that has a few flagship things (unload auger, bubble up auger maybe more) and it got me thinking about the class size specification. As far as I know the 5088 and 6088 are the same as the 7088 except for hp. In the flagship world I think they are pretty much the same from 7 to 9 with engine size/hp being the difference. All of them have a 30" rotor with the flagship having a different sieve system (more like the NH). I don't know much about the NH combines and if the hardware changes with size or just hp.

It looks like the CR11 is probably similar in design but things are driven differently and, of course, massive hp.

Also, hydraulic drive is not more efficient and probably requires a bump in hp. However, it requires less maintenance. Of course, if there is a problem the trail leads from a solenoid valve (possibly multiple) to various relays including safety relays that require somewhat unrelated conditions to be met (like the seat switch) and eventually a controller (or 2). Sometimes that belt isn't so bad if mice have their way.
