Not really looking to be a part of the whizzing contest you two are in but surely there were more people working in 1993 than there are in 2024. Keep in mind that we were just coming off of the 80’s and people were still licking their wounds from the recession and loss of jobs. People were hungry and eager to work in the early 90’s with many working two jobs. People let their kids work then too. Just about every high school kid had a job of some kind. Now you rarely see a high school kid working anywhere. Apparently the parents just give them spending money? The welfare and disability game has increased dramatically since 1993 as well. The government has made it much easier for people to claim disability that shouldn’t have it.
