far south central iowa | Finished with corn and beans last week and moved on to our Milo. It was all planted early June but we were so dry early that it didn’t have enough moisture to come up until it rained on June 28th. Yields are pretty good considering, thankfully it’s a short season white hybrid. Should be done Wednesday or Thursday of this week with no major breakdowns.
