States were NAT stated drought was killing the crop, Minnesota,North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
Well, would it be fair to point out that there were just a small handful of us pointing out all along that a larger percentage of those acres usually get hurt more by being too wet than by below-normal precipitation, especially early season? I'm talking about drainage country, not dryland Nebraska/Kansas of course. |
