| Well, I'm going to throw a wrench at you.. what if some years you are able to harvest all 100 acres of the field, and you get 20000 bushels.
this year when you got 92 acres harvested, and you got the 217 average for the whole field you know what you got... In a future year when you harvest all 100 acres, and get 200 bu average for 20000 total bushels, don't you want to compare a section of the field in an apples to apples comparison?
For those that fertilize based on crop removal, did you remove 217 or 200 bushels an acre in a section of the field.
I looked around today, and I didn't see a way that you could 'expand' area harvested and spread the yield over those areas.
