If you could find a fendt 900 series maybe consider it even if it has a few more hours. We like our 743, but the hood is massive compared to our older 765d's. It is not nearly as nimble as the older series, and I suspect the same applies to the 1000 series. If you don't need the big frame you might regret it even if it is a better machine than the Magnum 380.
