There are 2 dealers in a nearby area that have shut down NH3 sales, due to high insurance rates, costly upkeep of tanks, spotty weather, late springs, etc. Urea is easier and safer.
Don't need a dealer to use NH3. A lot cheaper to have on farm NH3 storage, than pay through the nose for retail NH3. Only extra Insurance cost I have is insuring value of storage tank and wagons.
Is NH3 on its way out ?
