I think some of this could be attributed to the fact that less and less families in this country actually cook meals for themselves at home. Going out to eat isn't a special "treat" for many, its normal.
I often wonder how this impacts our economy in other ways, especially in the cities where things like food delivery are more common.
How many people are we pulling out of workplaces like factories that actually produce something useful to have in occupations of delivery because as a society have become too lazy to make our own food or go get it ourselves? |
