Next time you look at your cattle check and see the Beef Ripoff deduction remember your are funding your own demise. National Corporate Beef Association has helped enable everything that is happening. One of the reasons given for the feeder cattle market downturn is increased import of Mexican cattle that compete with your cattle with no differentiation at the retail level. The packers have slowed kill to a crawl. But you continue to pay for "promotion" of beef. | |
