Once they have to admit that the carry in number was way overstated
reduce yield moving forward. (Idk about corn, but raising soybeans was interesting)
More global unrest

I states claiming it’s raining too much
I states claiming it’s too cold
I states claiming it’s too hot
I states claiming it’s too windy
I stayed claiming it’s too calm
I states claiming too much smoke
I states claiming no smoke.
Ndfarmer, Joe R, and palm all being bearish means they will all be wrong.
Not picking a fight… but every year throws a curveball at some point during the growing season and there will be opportunities somewhere. Find the middle ground, don’t listen to the lifetime bears like ndfarmer, and be careful of the guys always claiming crop failure.
Better add to that list how the Dakota managed to plant more corn acres into snow drifts than ever before. In March and April they were certain they wouldn’t get to plant, just as certain as some in IL thinking their corn was dead. |
