Also, .303 is about the standard batting average for players inducted into the baseball Hall Of Fame. My wager is that it's pretty similar for farmers and market gurus- they all hit an occasional grand slam, they all hit a ground rule double, they all get to first on a bunt, and they all strike out and go sit in the dugout.
