| Great info., thanks to all that responded. Only a 6 row head here as we have 2 old dryer systems that are the constraint. Combine (JD S760) could certainly handle a larger head, but we can fill the dryers so quickly that bringing it in from the field faster won't speed up harvest. Thus, we end up switching back and forth between corn/soybeans regularly as we fill the dryers and then wait for them to empty. Just under 1k acres total so we aren't under tremendous time pressure. Again, appreciate the knowledge from all. | |
