That’s why I like precip maps, even if a couple like to fight them. “Drought” on the monitor in the east vs the west are two very different things as they relate to crops…


drought out east used to mean the fields that hold water finally raised a heck of a crop......but they've drained all those so they miss out on that bit of joy. Now drought just means periodically slightly dry. Lol.

But then again, I don't live there and know nothing about it.
