Living along the Mississippi river, we see a lot of bald eagles. They are opportunistic and will eat all kinds of road kill. I call them the glorified buzzards.
that's exactly what I call them. Have seen several this fall already.
Small population in the Delta have been seen around for couple of years, always scavenging when I see them.
