South cental Ohio | I know this is a silly question but it is in fact what a lot of guys in the area are dealing with right now. Somehow, we've been blessed with ridiculously high yields for our area and now we are finding out that there just isn't enough room/storage for the bumper crop we are harvesting. I know... a good problem to have... but what do you do when your bins are all full and the local elevators are facing the same problem ??? Do you just let the corn in the field until room becomes available, and pray that the corn will still be harvestable when that happens? Never really had to deal with a situation to this magnitude before and thought I'd just see what others do. Thanks. | |
