ohio | I do not cut alot of wood but I didn't want to pay to have chains done so on a whim I bought a cheap Harbor Freight electric sharpener. I love it. It does a very good job and my chains seem to stay just as sharp as the pro sharpened ones do. Easy to set up and use. Only complaint is the paw which backs up behind the tooth is chintzy and I have to keep my thumb on it or it moves the tooth to one side slighty. Still was worth th 29 bucks I paid for it. Friend has a Oregon sharpener that cost around $150 that is very nice. Plus 1 on keeping the rakers filed down | |
