Hennepin, IL | Sounds like you're like us, all over the board but every field pretty much makes sense with hindsight. Beans were anywhere from 42 and a 3 digit/acre insurance claim to 87 and a record not only for that farm but our operation as a whole. Corn has been anywhere from 180 COC black ground to 250 on timber soil. I would've never guessed it around Memorial Day but the best corn was planted the day before Mother's day, got a pounding cold rain the next day, hoed to get it out of the ground 2 weeks later, and had a final stand of 25-29k. | |
