I think you took my comment wrong. You were telling everyone in summer that your yields would be at least somewhat diminished from lack of rain, as was I. And indeed mine were. 10-15% below APH, exactly as I called in July. I assumed Champaign county you’d have pretty high APH’s as most of mine are 250+ and a year of 225’s hurt.
Again, I didn’t mean offense to your yields, especially if you have variable soils and you’re pleased with the results. Not the case here. Despite pretty awesome conditions for a strong finish, the end of May and month of June hurt me.
My yields were diminished by lack of rainfall. They were also enhanced by timely 10 minutes before it’s too late rains. You have no idea what kind of soil types I farm. And me, vice-versa to you. Don’t tell me I stink. I’m just stating facts. As I said I would |
