nc ks | I wish you would have left up the other post you wrote a few minutes ago. I agreed with it as well. I am not going to blame anyone for my marketing blunders. I pull or don't pull the strings when I decide and it is on me. That is why I quit the last market guru I hired. He may be right more than me over the long haul, but I want to be the one I am mad at. That said, I agree with you that some probably got hurt from bad decisions with the crying of drought from the east. I don't doubt that one bit. I tend to let things ride anyway so I don't think I would have gotten back into the sell the carry mode soon enough, but the boo hoo's probably helped me keep my head in the sand. As it turns out, crop insurance is doing 75% of my marketing anyway and I'm going to hold what bushels I raised until they are worth something. Lol. I agree that they are forgetting the volume of wet undies the east had during their 'stressful weather' situation. Anyone posting from north and east of KC pretty much referenced 2012 for a few months. | |
