SW MN | What blows my mind in the comments of this thread is that no one seems to think the jump from $12.6k to $18-19.5K is concerning at all. One year of strong profits doesn't typically result in such a jump in land values.
This land sale is bringing more than a lot of recent Iowa sales.
I know there is more to grow than corn/beans, but realistically how often can you run beets and potatoes on this ground to make the margins sort of work?
At the time of the sale, a simple 20 year T bill would yield nearly $1000/A of income. | |
