What does the current ratio have to do with next year’s production?

Next crop years available prices is the only thing that is relevant to a seed going in the ground 5-6 months from now.

Last years spring price suggested that corn was needed to be in the planting mix. In 5 years, beans may only be needed to be produced at domestic usage levels.

That being said, rotations are hard to break for many, because of agronomic factors, work load etc., so planting mix isn’t going to change for a lot of acres.
