Interesting that Deweyish farms in Champaign county where where Edward Snodgrass lives. Edward mention how Champaign in particular was very dry and in desperate need of rain, and yet yields seem to be pretty darn good/great. Dry is better!
With all those fields you obviously run a good sized operation. Congratulations on a job well done.
North end of the county I live in had 21" or so of rain from June 29 until September 15. I live at the far south end and had a bit under 11". 8 miles south of me had about 7" more rain than I did. Location was everything this year. |
