I raise the chopper and bale behind the combine, 8 row head, get about 2 bales/ acre. I just need a small amount of bales for bedding, so I'm not going for a large quantity and it leaves a decent amount of material so I'm not robbing the soil.
Yes, if you needed a lot of bales, it would take a while
