Farmington IL | We had 160 acres to plow. One field I ran over with a disk. With modern corn heads and now common spotless weed control, plowing is easier. The smaller plows were in the 80 that was disked. Big plows ran in the standing stalks. Neither group had any appreciable issues even in these high yield high residue environments. Conditions were very good. Sunshine helps as well as well maintained plows. | |
