| not as much plastic in box when compared to pails. better shipping/handling characteristics as pails dont package well compared to boxes. cheaper price for the box as you are buying 3 gallons compared to 5 gallons although price per gallon is usually higher.
local coop bought a few pallets of boxes. They did sell well at all too many of us 5 gallon pail farmers here. how do you feed cattle with boxes? how do you carry tools etc in the back of your truck?
how do you drain oil into the box.
this farm runs with 5 gallon pails. I have a disease in that I can not throw out a pail until completely broke.
