Yup, sure looks like prior charge offs had them up against it. No question regulators would have been pushing for them to sell a year or two ago if not longer. Guessing no one was interested after looking at their loan book.

Not a lot of banks out there with less than $10 million in capital. That would be tough due to lending limits and lots of participations I bet on overlines.

A lot of small banks "for sale" are price fishing. In this environment, a merger may make more sense than an acquisition if trying to conserve capital and serious about consolidating.
