Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | Mitchco - 11/4/2023 07:04 We have 2 of each and 1 can't replace the other. Tele pros, more lift capacity, higher, farther out, faster ground speed, more stable, better ride, easy to pull things from the hitch on the back. Cons, bigger foot print, can't spin sideways, gets stuck easy, not easy to grade with, not good for digging solid dirt, can easily be tipped over on uneven ground or telescoping out with a big load. Skid steer pros, can turn in its own length, powerful for digging, quicker for short back and forth work like loading a spreader, easier to grade with, more durable for abuse, better cage for working around trees. We made adapters for our teles so we can use any bobtach attachments. I wouldn't want to be without any of the 4 machines. Mitchco
Dont know what you have for telehandlers, but ours will go anywhere, I know itll go through mud better than my Bobcat if nothing else for the ground clearance
We rented a 299 Cat for some dirt work, the telehandler did as good or better than the cat did. |
